Greetings from the Resident and Fellow Section!

- As a follow-up to the last Governing Council meeting, we have finalized the resident and program surveys. These surveys are now available on our website (http:www.rsnj.org/residents). The goal of these surveys is to gather information on all radiology residency programs in the state, and identify areas where the resident section can make a positive difference.

- Also, there is a program update form also on the website - something we plan to do annually to update our database.

- The ACR annual meeting in DC was insightful - we will have the details regarding this meeting on
our website soon. RPS representatives spoke on each of the resolutions discussed at the RPS business meetings and caucus, creating a very visible presence for the section.

- It was nice to be recognized at the ACR annual meeting as one of the most active state resident sections in the country, and only one of three with active websites! We need to keep the momentum going. We are also assisting residents in other states create resident sections within their state society, based on our experience.

- Also, I got nominated to the ACR Commission on Government Relations, and also got selected as one of the 2003 ACR JT Rutherford interns. I sincerely hope that we continue to have residents from our section actively involved at the national level.

- We plan to have our semi annual meeting with elections along with the RSNJ semi annual meeting later this year. Will let you know the details soon.
