49 Dec., 2004 A 72-year-old male with a history of a surgery (total cycstectomy and creation of an ileal conduit) five months earlier presented with abdominal pain and had two abdominal CT scans obtained eight hours apart. Selected images of which are shown (earlier study on top).

27 Feb., 2003 A 29-year-old female with an abnormal triple screen underwent a prenatal ultrasound (selected images of the placenta, fetus, and both ovaries are shown) in conjunction with a scheduled amniocentesis. A report from an outside ultrasound study performed seven weeks earlier reported a normal ten-week intrauterine gestation.

25 Dec., 2002 A 40-year-old female presented with increased appetite, weight loss, perspiration, and palpitations. Physical examination revealed no palpable neck masses or tenderness. A serum thyroid profile and an I-123 thyroid scan are shown.

22 Sept., 2002 A 24-year-old female presented to the Emergency Department with a sudden onset of severe abdominal pain and a CT scan of the abdomen was performed. Selected images are shown.
21 Aug., 2002 A 35-year-old male presented with shortness of breath and chest pain. PA and lateral films of the chest are shown.
20 July, 2002 A 33-year-old asymptomatic female had a pre-employment chest x-ray and subsequently a CT scan. Selected images are shown.
19 June, 2002 A 29-year-old multipara female presented 5 days post partum with fever, shortness of breath and abdominal pain. The patient had history of repeated urinary tract infections and was on appropriate antibiotic coverage for a recently documented infection at the time of admission. An initial fever of 38 C quickly subsided; however, her white blood cell count continued to climb to 25,000 and peritonitis was suspected. 18 May, 2002 A 45-year-old female presented to the Emergency Department with a headache. Images of the base of the brain from a non-contrast CT scan were unremarkable.

11 Oct., 2001 A 55-year-old female with a history of "arthritis" presented with pain in her right lower extremity and a bone scan was performed.
10 Sept., 2001 An 83-year-old male in the ICU, presented with hemoptysis. A chest x-ray showed bilateral effusions and left lower lobe atelectasis. A spiral CT scan of the chest with intravenous contrast was performed.
9 Aug., 2001 A 39-year-old female was admitted to the hospital with cough and a history of lung "masses".  PA and Lateral chest x-rays are shown along with selected CT scans.
8 July, 2001 A 46-year-old female underwent an upper gastrointestinal series and small bowel study for vague abdominal pain.  A selected radiograph from these studies is shown.
7 June, 2001 A 48-year-old female with a history of breast cancer had a bone scan and plain radiographs.  Selected images are shown.
6 May, 2001 A 52-year-old female presented with progressive epigastric abdominal pain.  Past history revealed prior surgical removal of a "large cystic mass".  Images from her ultrasound, spin echo MRI, and CT scan studies of the abdomen are shown.
5 April, 2001 A 79-year-old female had a recent mammogram showing suspicious calcifications in the upper outer quadrant of the left breast.  Biopsy revealed poorly differentiated, high-grade comedo-type DCIS in a palpable 1.1cm mass.  She had a remote history of right breast cancer in 1966.   Right shoulder x-rays, a bone scan, and a CT scan of the chest abdomen and pelvis were performed.
4 March, 2001 A 70-year-old female was admitted to the hospital with increasing fevers and a long history of fever of unknown origin with repeatedly negative blood cultures.  Selected CT scans of the abdomen are shown.
3 Feb., 2001 An 11-year-old male with abdominal pain, hematochezia, and anemia (Hb = 4.5), was admitted to the hospital.   Endoscopy and a gastrointestinal bleeding scan were unremarkable.  Selected films from an upper gastrointestinal series and a CT scan of the abdomen are shown.
2 Jan., 2001 A 33-year-old female with a chronic respiratory abnormality and multiple documented allergies was admitted to the hospital with bronchospasm, fever and an abnormal chest x-ray.  The admission PA and lateral chest x-rays are shown.
