Educational Programs
One of the
most important functions of the Radiological Society of
New Jersey is to foster continuing education for its
technologist, resident and radiologist members. The
Society, through the Educational Committee, sponsors
eight lectures a year, covering a variety of current
topics in Radiology. These lectures are given by
distinguished speakers at either Overlook Hospital in
Summit, NJ or Cooper Hospital in Camden, NJ.
Once a
year, the RSNJ also sponsors a continuing Medical
Education Symposium, designed to help the busy
radiologist meet their CME requirements in a
subspecialty area. This meeting, planned in conjunction
with the Seton Hall University School of Medical
Education, occurs during a weekend in the Fall and is
worth 16 credit hours in category 1 toward the AMA
Physician's Recognition Award. Past topics have
included: MRI, Breast Imaging, and Ultrasound.
